When we develop football skills, the majority of learning occurs subconsciously. It's a double-edged sword. Subconscious learning has clear advantages; however, it also has its drawbacks.
One of the most significant advantages of subconscious development is that you can learn new and complex skills in a relatively short period without too much thought. In the beginning, players observe a significant amount of progress, and this can be great for their confidence and enthusiasm.
However, one major drawback is that the techniques and movement patterns we develop subconsciously are often flawed, and these flaws can become embedded in our game, ultimately affecting our performance.
