The term, “job interview” is certainly a common household term. If you do a search on the phrase “job interview” on Google, more than six million results come up. But, what really is a job interview? The interview is two-way sales call. You, as the candidate, are looking to sell the interviewer on why he or she should hire you. On the other hand, it is up to the interviewer to sell you on why you would want to work for the company. Remember, interviewing is a two-way street. Interviewers are not better than you. They should have to sell you, just like you have to sell them. There is no need to put interviewers on a pedestal. If anything, you should be put on a pedestal.
