Sharing proprietary information shows a tremendous lack of integrity and conveys a message that you cannot be trusted. The first thing that hiring managers will wonder is if you are willing to share proprietary information about a prior employer, what would prevent you from doing it again? Perhaps worst of all, in this day and age, most people have to sign confidentiality agreements. Odds are, you might have signed one in the past. If you were to share proprietary information on a future job interview, you could very well be violating a confidentiality agreement and expose yourself to a lawsuit.
