These small things include showing up even a minute late or mispronouncing an interviewer’s name. These infractions are enough to cause you to get bounced. How well you are dressed, the kind of pen you are writing with and how shiny your shoes are can all send a subtle but strong message to the interviewer on whether or not you should be hired.
