The Basics
Meditation is the practice of fixing your mind on one point. This may sound simple, but it can be very challenging because the human mind likes to be ‘busy’ aka “The Monkey Mind”.
Meditation is the opposite of multitasking. 
With practice, focusing on one point will become easier. 
Meditation vs. Prayer
While prayers or wishes involve asking or speaking, meditation is about listening. Listening to our thoughts, our bodies, our intuition, our Inner Voice.
