Essentially, I am who I am. Embracing exactly who you are can empower your thoughts in a positive and simplified way. 
In the stoic principle, The Dichotomy of Control (From Module 2), the only thing you have complete power over is yourself. And the way you embrace this power is by taking control of the thoughts you feed your brain about yourself. 
If you think you’re going to fail, then you probably will. The old stories, the negative talk like to stick around your brain. 
The Power of a Mantra
We need strategies to choose positive talk. This includes having a Mantra (or Affirmation) that you repeatedly:

Speak, Proclaim
Write, Journal
Visualize

These strategies will guide you to take back power over the thoughts you play in your brain.
