Remember, the Law of Thermodynamics teaches us that energy is neither created nor destroyed, it only changes form. While energy can't be created or destroyed, it can transfer or change from more-useful forms (purpose) into less-useful forms (waste).
Movement for Mindset
Physical exertion is a great way to release and process excess energy. This can include:

Taking a Brisk walk
Throwing around a ball
Going for a swim
Having a quick Dance Break
