Understanding how and why our systems respond to stress will give us more information on how to control what we can. 
What is Stress?
“Stress”, from a physiological perspective, is any radical shift from your normal operations. 
This can include positive, exciting events like a party, a wedding, a promotion, a holiday, a roller coaster, along with the events we usually associate with stress: a problem, a conflict, a fire, an illness, an accident, etc. 
Stress can be any events or reactions that pull you off-center.
Stress + Your Body
Even though we’re no longer cavemen and women, in any "Fight or Flight" situation, your body is still hardwired to respond in dramatic ways in response to this increased stress - going into survival mode.
