DESCRIPTION:
Lesson 7: 3rd Success principle
Wow. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we all saw ourselves as responsible for our own behavior?
We have all heard the importance of people taking ownership, being accountable, not blaming others, and not being the victim. How do we move first ourselves and then influence others to take on and foster these positive attitudes and behaviors?
I suggest it begins with the first two success principles, I know myself, and I establish my own values and beliefs. Through these first two principles, I can evaluate my self-concept, who am I; my self-esteem, how I value who I am, others, and the world around me. These basic thought patterns affect my behavior towards myself, others, and the world around me.
I have been and will continue to make choices about what I think and do, based on the above. This thinking or what I call ‘self-talk’ will continue to form unconscious habits of thought or attitudes that will forever direct our behavior...
