DESCRIPTION: MINDFULNESS TECHNIQUE:
There are a few tools I have learned to make my fear go away, which I would like to share with you. Use them as you see fit, but keep in mind that my fear is based on stuff in my personal history, which could be similar to what you&rsquo;ve experienced&mdash;or not. Always use my observations and notes with the knowledge that you have to design your own tools to benefit you.
Journaling&mdash;writing out against fear is a powerful tool&mdash;much like speaking out against hate. Putting your beliefs into words, into the act of writing, reinforces your identity and purpose.
Meditation&mdash;I tend to be a bit restless, even in my mind. It is the reason I didn&rsquo;t do all that well in school. Meditation helps center my focus so that I don&rsquo;t go into the dangerous mind-wanderings of negativity and insecurity.
