Now we can get into creating the program itself. This video will walk you through the steps, and show how to incorporate the prior videos toward it.

Summary:

Finding your weight on the Moon and Sun, using Python. The created program will acquire the user’s weight value, then use that value to find the user's weight on the Sun or Moon. The student’s project will have them find the weight on other planets.

Math Formulas:

  • Sun Weight -  Your weight divided by 6  (weight/6)
  • Moon Weight - Your weight times 27.1  (weight *27.1)

For your project, create the necessary formulas to provide the user their weight on these planets.

  • Mercury - Weight times 0.38
  • Venus - Weight times 0.91
  • Mars - Weight times 0.38
  • Jupiter - Weight times 2.34
  • Saturn - Weight times 1.06
  • Uranus - Weight times 0.92
  • Neptune - Weight times 1.19
  • Pluto - Weight times 0.06
