Classic Cursive is a handwriting class based on the early handwriting systems from the penmen of the late 1800s. Special attention is given to the work of Mary Champion and H.P. Behrensmeyer. All the upper and lower case letters are based on an oval shape and can be formed with 3 simple strokes. This class is taught by Marie Hornback. Marie has been teaching cursive handwriting and other forms of calligraphy to adults and children since 2008. The class is stress-free. You can work through the 4 lessons at your own pace and view the videos repeatedly. Handouts are included in this class. The handouts provide many guidelines and practice sheets for the student. This class is useful for children and adults who want to learn cursive handwriting or improve their cursive.
