Hello guys, welcome to the 39th session of using Microsoft both framework and cognitive services tutorial for beginners. In this session we will learn what is cognitive services and we will see some details of their cognitive services also known as project Oxford. It is part of the Microsoft a group from Microsoft Cognitive Services is a collection of API's that enables nature and condition interaction. It has intelligent algorithms to see here understand and interpret user needs to nature methods of communication. These services work across the device and platforms. In this series, I will use and you get packages of cognitive services or project opsware for this.
However, Microsoft may lose all EPA revenue via a simple HTTP request, so we can use it in other programming languages such as PHP, Java, or Microsoft device all cognitive API's in five sections. Currently following API's are publicly available to us, and Microsoft is continuously making changes in. throughout this series, we'll see API data in both x here. First is Vision API. It provides image processing algorithms to smartly identify caption and moderator features. Using Vision API, we can generate caption for image tags for image other details, such as a color scheme for image as well as check for editor ethical things.
We can also perform OCR on image containing text or handwritten text. We can detect face within image Check for H emotions, face attributes etc. Next is speech APA. Using these we can convert speech to text, and back again to understand user intent, as well as we can use speech to identify and authenticate individual speakers. Next is Language API. It allows our apps to process natural language with pre built scripts.
Luis is also part of language cognitive services. We can easily evaluate sentiment and topics to understand what users want. Next is knowledge APA. It maps complex information and data in order to solve tasks such as intelligent recommendations, and semantic search. And lastly is Bing search API. It has ability to come billions of FPGA with a single API call.
We can perform web image, video news entity and play search. We can also check for auto Association text for spell check and attaching link of official sites and documentation so you can read more details about those. As well as see some examples.
