There is a whole set of Pranayamas in Gitananda lineage to work with our solar energy or rhythms known as Surya Vritti Pranayamas or solar rhythm pranayama for awakening, recharging, and enhancing solar pranic energy for health, wellness, peace, and prosperity in life. These pranayamas are great to be introduced with Surya Namaskar Sadhana for the awakening of pranic energies, opening, and cleansing of Nadis (subtle pranic energy channels). You move from Asana to Asana with inhalation or exhalation and hold your Asana or Mudra while holding your breath.
