Alright, so here you can see that I've created this story. And in order to upload it onto Instagram, I have to export it. So the correct way of exporting This is to select whatever comp you want to export, then go to the composition and click on Add to render queue, or you can press Ctrl plus m, or Command plus m on Mac. So once you do that, you can simply click on this icon q to do Media Encoder, and it will take you inside the Media Encoder. And once the encoder is opened up, you can change the format from here, the best setting to go with Instagram sorry, is this a star 264 format, so make sure to check it out. And you can change the preset option by simply clicking on this and it will enable the dynamic link connection.
So once it's done, it will open up this window. And over here you can once again change the format if you want but we already done that. So over here you can see that under the video panel, we have this option Render at maximum depth, just make sure to check it. And over here you can see that we have another option to use maximum render quality, just make sure to check both of these options. And once you're done with that you're pretty much done with the encoding part. Just simply click on OK, you can choose the output location wherever you want to save the file.
And once you have selected that, you can click on this icon and it will start rendering your story. So after saving the story, you can obviously upload it on to Instagram and if you want, you can promote it using Instagram promotions. These look very professional and will definitely grab your viewers attention and I hope you will start using them. So this is how you guys can create animated stories.
