Okay, so I want to go into what's called yt. Short for YouTube cockpit. And this is a great tool, it is a paid one. But you can get a little bit more into the details of your keyword research. That's mainly what it's for is research, finding popular keywords and kind of their competitive nature of how much you know, again, you're going to be going up against when you create this video, what do you need for optimization? How long should it be those sorts of details.
Now, again, while vid IQ, which I went into over here is pretty nice. It does give you a competition, things like that, and it is all free. The main idea that you do have to keep in mind is that with free, there's limitations. So pay it's obviously going to be really focused on well obviously this is just purely focused on YouTube, one of the only search engines that's really focused on just that. And they're also using that money that you pay them every single month to improve their systems to get better to update their algorithms. So, again, a lot of this is really all based on, you can start at $19 a month, you can go yearly if you want.
But the main idea is that you're going to be searching keywords inside of this, you're going to be able to even track different keywords and where they're ranking. That's of course, though, only if you use the pro version, which is $40 a month. And overall, I love YouTube cockpit. It's great because again, it's tracking inside and letting you know, when you do this, when you do that this is making a benefit to your overall rankings or this isn't. So it really lets you know kind of what's going on in the back end, instead of having to sort of shuffle through dozens of pages for just finding a single video. It keeps all of this on an eye on all of this for you.
And overall, like I said, it's mainly there in terms of just getting the keywords finding the competition. Let you know what's the low hanging fruit that you can actually go after. So I suggest they have free webinars at the current moment, you can get some training, that's a really great thing to get involved in, kind of gives you a preview of the software, I'm not going to walk through it, because it's ever changing. They always have a few things that they're updating every single month. So it's better that you actually get the training from them on the most recent release. And again, you can just sign up, just get started.
They're not offering free trials at the moment, but sometimes they do. And at the very least, you can see what the software does with a free webinar, and then you'll be able to instantly dive in, see if this is the right decision for you in terms of research, and if it isn't that I'm going to again be going into vid IQ and a few other tools as well that you can use
