Part Three interpretations and implications, continually question how you're interpreting information is essential to critical thinking. Some of the landmines to critical thinking such as groupthink and tolerance, or social conditioning can bias interpretations of information. If you are aware of landmines to critical thinking as shown in the previous lecture, you can adjust your thinking as necessary. This will help to ensure you are interpreting information accurately and fairly. Asking a trusted mentor, teacher, coach or friend about his or her interpretation of information is a good way to get a second opinion to help you test the validity of your interpretation. Question the implications of choosing certain information, the more critical the issue, the more important information and logically the more time should be invested in verifying it.
Collusions there are several questions that can help you determine if conclusions drawn from your critical thinking are valid. Ask yourself such questions as does the conclusion Make sense? Does the information support the conclusion reached? If so, why? If not, why not? These are the type of questions to ask.
And they also need to include the re verify and so forth, that ask the right questions. Good ask enough questions. Should I review the information, information sources and so forth? Was there more than one possible conclusion? which one is best to use and so forth. Thanks for watching.
