How to become an expert investigator. The focus of this lesson is how to investigate any subject quickly and easily. Learning how to do good investigation can be enjoyable and rewarding for the following reasons. First of all, it leads to better decisions. better decisions lead to better results in life. better results in life lead to a happier life.

It's just that simple. Investigation leads to learning new things. I'm a lifelong learner, I hope you are as well. learning something new is exciting and fun because it's a discovery process. Just in time learning, there are many useful resources to help you investigate. The primary ones are the internet, including virtual bookstores, traditional bookstores and libraries, experts classes and software.

To locate information when investigating you something that's called data mining, you have to sift through a great deal of information To get to the golden nuggets of information you seek effective data mining, invest your time in order to learn what you need to know when you need to know it. This is called just in time learning. This is a huge time saving tool when used effectively. That's why I want to discuss this. So some of the questions you want to ask are how do you quickly find the best information? How do you keep from going into information overload?

Also, how do you stop from going down blind alleys or getting wrapped around the axle. So let's look at the information sources. You're probably somewhat familiar with these. But again, my purpose here is to explain how to use them much more effectively. YouTube is an incredible resource to learn almost anything it seems today. I suspect you're very proficient at already using YouTube.

However, let me give you a couple ideas how to improve yourself. effectiveness even further. Look for the number of ratings with a thumbs up that are at least 10 times the number of thumbs down rating or more. Those videos are usually pretty good. Also look for the number of views on the video, and also the number of people who have given it a thumbs up and thumbs down. The internet is a vast and useful resource.

There are many ways to get to what you need simply and quickly. I assume you're already pretty proficient at this. How deep you investigate a subject is up to you. It's a matter of interest need motivation and time. Also, the more important the subject is, the more you should verify with multiple independent resources. Be careful though, there's a great deal of duplication on the internet.

Internet bookstores, if web searching doesn't provide enough information for your investigation, consider purchasing a book or two especially if this subject is very important to you. What For the right book can be a daunting task today, especially since there's so much information load that we've already talked about. However, there is a straightforward way to make this task very manageable. The star rating system essentially, is important to look at how many people have rated the books and how many stars have they've given it. Four to five stars is really good.

The closer to five stars, the better. The number of reviews is also extremely important. Ask for the individual at a store or business with the most experience on task or project that you want to do. Then seek advice from that person.
