Listening, this is a key concept for assessing and treating. We want to listen to the body. I'm doing a partial load at the top of the head, visualizing the bounce down the body and up. First three seconds. Where does the body take me? Takes me in takes me right takes me right here.
A local listening of the body is when you have the client lying down. you've identified what area of the body you want to treat. And then now you want to invest gait within that local area. In this case, it's Rene's face, which seems a little odd. But what I would actually do is go up midline on her face, starting at her chin palpating gently. And seeing where I'm being drawn where the tissue is drawing me, I want to go past the point and come back, it's usually something really tiny, that's having a really, really big effect on other tissues and structures around it.
So what I'm doing is I'm doing a partial load, which means I'm just engaging the tissue downward and not forcing I'm doing a little bounce, bounce, bounce as taking me where it wants to go. It's the same thing if I had a snag in my T shirt, I would have a line being drawn and I would be able to from wherever any place I'd be able to find that line of tension.
