So guys, in this lesson, we will teach you 10 phrases for agreeing. What phrases to usually use when you want to show that you agree with people. Most of the students they say I agree. But here I'm going to teach you 10 great ways to agree with people. The first one which is very common is exactly exactly used as a reply to show that you think what someone has said is completely true. For example, so you think we should sell the house?
Exactly. Exactly. The next one is absolutely, actually, this word used a lot in movies and American Speech. Absolutely. Absolutely. As always.
Using conversation to show emphasis agreeing to someone or something. For example, can you lend me $10 till tomorrow? absolutely hates no problem. Next one is that's so true. And that's for sure. That's so true.
That's for sure. We're going to use these two phrases actually, for certain, and with no doubt. So that's for sure means something that is certain. There is no doubt. For example, Sally says, Are you ready to go? And Bob says, for sure.
And then Sally says, Then let's go. Okay, the next one is I agree 100% I I agree 100% I agree 100%, which means that you completely agree with something, and there is no disagreement. Number six is I couldn't agree with you more. I love this one. I couldn't agree with you more. I couldn't agree with you more.
You can say this, if you completely agree with what someone said, for example, things have got to change. I couldn't agree more. We've got to do something. So we use this phrase to say that we completely agree with somebody. Number seven is that's exactly what I think or that's exactly how I feel. That's exactly what I think this is another way to completely agree with somebody.
Number eight is informal. So we should use the informal phrases in an informal situation. Tell me about it. And you're telling me, tell me about it. You're telling me. For example, I feel the same way or I have the same experience.
So tell me about it means I feel the same way or I have had the same experience. For example, he's grimy. He's driving me crazy with his bad jokes. Tell me about it. So I'm trying to say that I feel the same way. Next one is actually informal to I'll say, I'll say I'll say use to show that you agree very strongly with what has been said.
For example, that was a good landing, I'll say. So this is an informal to agree strongly with what has been said. And the last one is I suppose so. I suppose so use this phrase for weak agreement. You agree but reluctantly. So we use this four week agreement, I suppose so.
And so we learned great phrases, actually, to show that we agree with people. Exactly. Absolutely. That's so true. That's for sure. I agree.
100%. I couldn't agree with you more. That's exactly what I think that's exactly how I feel. Tell me about it. You're telling me, I'll say and I suppose. Try to understand them and try to use them in your speech when you'd want to show it meant when you want to show that you agree with some people.
Let me give you some examples. Here jack says it's really hot today. Let's go and buy ice cream. I really like ice cream in this weather. And Sarah says, Yeah, I couldn't agree with you more. Let's eat something cold now.
So she says I couldn't agree with you more. She's she wants to show a complete agreement. Yeah, there's a conversation between jack and Alex. JACK says let's go on vacation on take a few days off. We can go together. And Alex says, exactly.
I agree. 100% of lives go and have fun. So Alex is trying to agree 100% here there is another conversation Sara says. What's your idea about not going to class today. Let's go and play volleyball. today.
You agree on Alex's, I suppose so, which is a weak agreement. But I'm afraid my teacher would become angry. There's a conversation here between Ted and Robin Ted says, I guess that's one of the best laptop I've ever seen. It's really fast and nice. And Robin says, yep, tell me about it. So this is informal way to agree with somebody.
