Okay, now When most people think of SEO, I'm going to be covering just the basics right here. This is the easy thing that most people think of. And maybe you don't even know what this is. There's what's known as alt tags. And then what I call names name, SEO. So overall, alt tags are pretty easy.

I'm going to show you how to edit this. I'm going to go inside after this lecture after I explain the differences, and then show you where you would place these alt tags, etc. And you're going to be able to do keyword research. I'll even show you a little bit inside of Google Keyword Planner, how you can get a few of your keywords going seen, you know, kind of what search volumes they have, how it's spelled. Sometimes misspellings are a benefit to you. What types of longtail key phrases you have, there's so many front four types of things.

But Google Keyword Planner will help you in determining which phrases and words you should use when naming your pictures and obviously your pictures. If it's a picture of chocolate, don't try and name it white truffles because that's a keyword for you name it a specific thing like, you know, dark chocolate souffle or dark chocolate, you know, bits or dark chocolate chunks or dark chocolate grounds you know that all those things, those are longtail phrases. Being more specific about those things, helps you increase your SEO with longtail phrase because the more onpoint you are, the more the higher the conversion rate is and click through rate for when someone finds your image in any of these search engines. So as far as name SEO, this is pretty easy. Whenever you have something it's what you're naming the image itself. See Chocolate dot jpg.

So obviously, I may want to name it something like dark chocolate or dark. And when I add in additional words, so say this is keyword one, I'm going to add in a dash, that dash is going to ensure that it's not all becoming keyword one keyword to keyword. You do not want this that's bad thing you want keyword one, dash, keyword two, dash, keyword three. And what do I mean by keyword 123? Well, chocolate is one keyword, but you're not going to just rank for chocolate and become the number one chocolate image in the world. There's a million chocolate images and people that just make chocolate all day every day and love chocolate and oh my god.

So what you're gonna have do is, well, you may come in top for dark chocolate, but even still, that's pretty hard. So you may want to do like I said, Dark chocolate, you know chunks or dark chocolate crumble or dark chocolate cake or dark chocolate cake with you know, soup, you know with strawberries, whatever it is, there's so many things that you can add in, that creates a phrase that's descriptive of what the actual object is. whatever is inside the image, you want to name it that so yeah, maybe chocolate and you may be pouring a little of chocolate you could say, you know, a liquid dark chocolate you know, just that alone. That's a sexy as a sexy chocolate name just thinking about that, but I'm hungry about thinking about that. But uh, you know, you want to describe that it's, you know, melted chocolate or that's dark or the milk or the, it's white chocolate, whatever it is.

So name, the image that then when you get into the all images, this is going to be something where it's going to be in the coding You're, you know, doing HTML loops. So that's what you often want to end up, you know, using as a code. But you can also go into WordPress, and all you got to do is just click in, you know, into image options, and they let you optimize it from there. So, I'm going to show you how to do that right now.
