Preparation Steps
Before you can begin to apply for lash extensions you will need to prepare your client and her lashes in order to give her the best and most hygienic application possible. Make sure to be very cautious and gentle. There are no fast movements EVER! 

Have your client lay on a massage table. Some technicians prefer to use a specialized lash ergonomic memory foam pillow. Any pillow coverings (and any & all bedding) should be changed between clients. 
Gently cleanse the lashes and eye area, paying close attention to the lashes. Make sure lashes are free of any debris, makeup, and/or lotions. There are two recommended cleansing techniques; A: Shampoo the eye area with a gentle foaming cleanser and soft lash cleansing brush then tilts her head to the side and flush away the foam cleanser with purified water then pat and fan the lashes until they are completely dry. Repeat on the other side (See Cleansing). or B: Dip 2 fresh flocked applicators into oil-free makeup...
