DESCRIPTION:
Choosing the Correct Extensions
The length and diameter of the lash extension that you choose for your client are entirely determined by the condition of her natural lashes.
Length is determined by allowing for no more than 25 to 30% longer than her natural lashes (for example; her natural lashes are 10mm long, she can have lashes no longer than 13mm applied to her natural lashes).
The diameter (or thickness) is determined by her natural lashes either matching her natural thickness or going only slightly thicker than her natural lash (ie.: if her natural lash is 0.10mm thick you can match it or use 0.12 or 0.15 for a more dramatic look. Keep in mind that your client may have natural lashes that look very thick however they may also be brittle and they can even break easily.
If your client wishes to have longer lashes: scale back the diameter and do not use an extension thicker than her natural lashes.
If your client wishes to have thicker lashes: scale back the length and do not...
