Let's talk about the different neurotransmitters, the brain chemicals going in your brain and also floating around in your body. Gather the first one is the anti anxiety brain chemical. high amounts will reduce anxiety. So low amounts is not enough you will have more anxiety in your life. And serotonin is your feel good neurotransmitter, it helps with things. Mainly depression, however, anxiety and depression as well, as well as irritability and we'll go through all these neurotransmitters in more detail later on.

Dopamine is another field good neurotransmitter, also related to depression and a lot to do with motivation and lethargy and all those sort of things. So if you're low in dopamine, you feel you're not motivated to do things and just a lot of procrastination. Melatonin is your hormone for sleep. And so all these for effective By unstable levels of cortisol, so when your adrenal system is out of balance, that means your cortisol levels are out of balance, which makes these brain chemicals also out of balance, causing anxiety, depression, fatigue, insomnia. Now, the other things that happen when cortisol is out of balance is it suppresses your thyroid function. TSH is a hormone produced by your pituitary gland and it stimulates your thyroid to work well.

When cortisol is imbalanced, TSH is reduced and therefore, your thyroid function is reduced. And thyroid function of course, is important because your thyroid hormone helps all your cells use up energy and your thyroid hormone also helps your brain produce more serotonin as well as just function better. So low thyroid function because of cortisol imbalance will cause mood disturbances as well. Now remember thyroid can be higher levels can be low, because of your thyroid itself is affected and you just have low thyroid function. Or in this case your thyroid levels are low because of cortisol imbalance and inflammation and chronic stress. your adrenal glands also help with hormonal balance.

So if your adrenal glands are exhausted, your testosterone levels will generally be lower. And that is directly related to having more depression and anxiety. Low progesterone as well is directly linked to anxiety. And progesterone actually helps Gabba work better in your brain. So low progesterone means less Gabba or less gathers working well and therefore more anxiety. And also you'll notice that people with low progesterone will have poor sleep.

Low Melatonin is a direct result of cortisol, imbalanced cortisol level sorry. And a lot of people with anxiety and depression will have sleep issues as well. So you can see that we definitely need to treat the adrenal system when somebody has poor sleep and poor sleep combining also is direct relation to poor liver function as well as you talked in the previous video. So with insomnia always treat the liver and the adrenal system as well and of course remove inflammatory foods so that we can stabilize all these neurotransmitters before let me just get back to my video so you can see me here better and of course related to sleep, we want to make sure that you're sleeping well because that gives your venous system a chance to rest. If you don't rest well enough because of course you can get more and more exhausted issues more and more imbalances in quarters All neurotransmitters.

So make sure you're going to bed early by 10 o'clock. Make your room really dark and proper sleep hygiene. Remove any electronic devices from your room if possible. And because cell phones emits low frequency electromagnetic waves that actually interfere with brain function so you don't get that deep recipe that you really want. So what are the things that your adrenal system chronic inflammation, where does chronic inflammation come from? That comes from basically having inflammatory foods and having leaky gut syndrome or under the poor digestive function we talked about?

And of course, having lots of toxins in your body. All this creates inflammation, and inflammation requires cortisol from your adrenal system, so too much inflammation. More cortisol is needed by your adrenal glands which already tired to make them more tired. Kept too much coffee. A lot of coffee stimulates your immune system right? It gives it a kick wake up and function better.

The problem is coffee does not nourish your immune system, it just stimulates it work harder and therefore burns it out faster. Problem is most people with anxiety and depression what not most, a lot of people with anxiety and depression need that cup of coffee to keep going in the morning, right? Otherwise you just can't function. What happens is the coffee stimulates your immune system so much a weaker coffee also interferes with their liver function. And if they get more constipation more, you've got more inflammation in the body. So obsessive coffee has to be reduced Otherwise, they just don't cover environmental stress.

Of course, constant electromagnetic waves stimulate your body they don't give it a rest. city lights at night, you know your body doesn't go into a restful sleep. mode noise pollution is just constant stimulus. Anything stimulating pollution is simple. exhaust your system. So you can see that nature is very important to be in, in order for your body to recover as well.

And I also want you to know that we're designed to be in nature. And therefore when we put ourselves in this environment pollution and noise pollution, electromagnetic waves. This takes a toll on the natural resilience of your body. And therefore your ability to withstand stress reduces because all these stimulants and pollutants and stressful factors are wearing down in your body. So don't be hard on yourself to be anxious or depressed. We're an environment that's exhausting.

24 Seven high sugar and a carbohydrate diet. Well, I'm going to talk about that in the next slide. Here. When you basically have a lot of sugar you get it sugar, spiking your blood sugar, drop it His incident pulled the sugar down. And that's just as your adrenal system. So, you can see that adrenal fatigue means cortisol imbalance, and therefore neuro transmitter imbalance, which will affect your mood.

So let's talk about the sugar levels and eating carbohydrates, pastries and stuff like that as snacks. So pastries, cakes, high sugar, foods, soda, and they basically cause a sugar spike in your blood. And when your sugar spikes, insulin also spikes to bring the sugar down. However, if there's a strong spike, there's a strong spike. If the strong spike of sugar there's a strong spike of insulin. And I mean, there's a sharp drop of sugar in the blood all of a sudden, and that's why if you eat just a very sugary snack, an hour later, you might be learning But by it however, an hour later, you just burn out.

And when your sugar drops too low now below normal levels, your primitive brain thinks, God, I gotta go hunting and I gotta go find some more food. And that's a stress response actually, that stimulates more adrenaline to be produced. So high sugar diet will actually burn out your adrenal glands through this chemical stress signal. So the trick is to include more protein in your diet, more protein, especially for breakfast and just snack during the day on nuts and seeds. bloating is a slow release of nutrients into the blood, so there's no spike. Having a slower release does not create the internet spike so you don't get the strong sugar drop either.

So that's less stressful to your adrenal system, meaning you burn out less and you'll actually just be more resilient and have more energy during the day. Eating this way will actually reduce your need for stimulating things such as coffee or caffeinated drinks. So, what else are we going to do here? We talked about diet, the key thing is having more protein than carbohydrates. And so on the slide you'll notice that the 30% protein, 20% carbohydrates, and 50% greens now why is green so important? greens a very important one is they provide a lot of enzymes in to the alkalize your body so just keeps a healthy environment.

Greens also create a lot of fiber to detoxify your body to make sure you're not constipated and absorbing all those toxins back right. So the key thing to take here is just have more protein and carbohydrates in a meal and enough greens to provide enough enzymes and fiber. avoid caffeine stimulants, especially if you're super exhausted and you're burning out or have anxiety and panic attacks. Even though coffee feels like it's getting you through the day. He died, he got used supplements I'm going to talk about and you'll become more resilient in your mood and you won't need stimulants. Breathing, meditation, exercise, rest, laughter these are just all feel good activities fine.

And exercise gives you the feeling that you're dealing with stress efficiently. It's basically you're responding to the fight or flight response. Exercise makes it seem like you, you're winning. You're winning a fight or running away from a threat. And that accomplishment helps your body become more relaxed in the end, and releases endorphins when you feel good. And that sense of escape or that sense of accomplishment actually rewires your brain thinking Gosh, I'm I'm a survivor.

And that builds confidence. And when you build confidence, of course, your mood changes and you interact with people differently and you just have a better life for yourself. And laughter is really the best medicine. release a lot of endorphins and to feel good rewires your brain keeps you thinking that the world is safe. Helps you overcome trauma Memories over time. Include laughter even if you have to watch comedies or make yourself laugh, read comic books.

Really break the habit of depression, anxiety, low mood, procrastination negativity with these positive exercises, and I'm going to show you how to do some other exercises in later videos so that you can rewire your brain and feel more permanently better. Remember, your adrenal glands work on a routine. Now they produce cortisol at certain times of the day, and they produce other hormones at certain times of the day. So it's better to have a regular routine with your sleep and with your meals, because it matches your adrenal system expectations. If you keep on changing your meal times your sleep times your routines, then your adrenal glands have to constantly constantly readjust and have to readjust all the time they become imbalanced, fatigued, and then you start getting hormonal imbalance as well. Your body, and of course that's going to affect your mood and promote adrenal burnout.

You don't have enough nutrients to sustain an irregular lifestyle, right? You just use up too many nutrients when you're trying to readjust all the time. So protect your body and have a regular routine as much as possible. The key thing for recovering from anxiety, depression, of course, and Adrenal Fatigue is rest. Of course, it is so depressed, that you're not leaving the house and sleeping all the time. That's a different issue.

You need mild exercise to keep you going. However, if you are burnt out and you're overwork, then sleep is crucial because that's the time when your adrenal glands can just relax and let go of memories that are keeping it exhausted and stimulated. So good. Good sleep hygiene means having a dark room drawing the curtains having thick curtains trying to avoid nightlights, movies, electronic devices From your bedroom if you want to have like a chamomile tea before bed, have that but have it at least two hours before bed because having keys at night will make you want to pee in the middle of the night and they'll interrupt your sleep. Body therapy is fantastic for releasing adrenal stress as well. So so far we've talked about lifestyle and also nutrition and foods to help restore adrenal gland balance.

Now, it's also good to get somebody to do some therapy on you. I personally practice Bowen therapy a lot was probably one of the best days I've seen for reducing adrenal stress and rebalance the body. However, if you don't have a bone therapist near you go to an acupuncturist or an osteopath, or a reflexologist. Anything just to let the body know Okay, it's safe. And I'm being nourished taken care of in in healing hands. It was a very deep relaxing event that will stop you renal stress response.

Yeah, it's coming from your brain. Once you've taken care of all these lifestyle issues, then remember that your adrenal glands have been exhausted by life by stress by traumatic memories. We often will use Herbes. There's certain herbs that are amazing, amazing and restoring adrenal gland balance. And normal medicine doesn't have a that nourishes the immune system as much as herbal medicine. And I'll just mention them briefly here.

There's rhodiola Jin Sang astragalus ashwagandha, the Copa barrage some of these of course, you have to be very careful in pregnancy so check with your practitioner before using them. licorice avoid when there's high blood pressure. schizandra is a excellent herb that basically relaxes the body and nourishes at the same time. And it's often used with insomnia and overwork and exhaustion in Chinese medicine. Venus diva is oats and I always use that in my cooking, especially for breakfast in the morning. I combine that of course with some protein like almonds and pumpkin seeds and affordable ashwagandha and they're also very nourishing the low end gluten, there is some gluten in old stories we have to be careful and also create a steady release of nutrients throughout your throughout the day or throughout the morning.

And so there's no sugar spikes strong sugar spikes when you compare to eating toast or pastry for breakfast, a good B complex especially with bit B five and B six are fantastic vitamins for your green system. But even C and zinc are also important nutrients for the adrenal gland. So the performance That might have a B complex with some zinc and their vitamin C, or have foods that have a good amount of nutrients in them to in order to protect and re nourish your adrenal system. The other supplements I use if somebody cannot relax, I was having trouble sleeping is magnesium. Magnesium just undoes the stress response that just helps with the healing response through relaxation. And the last supplements here I'm going to mention is hospital searing.

Now, that reduces cortisol levels. I don't use it to nourish the adrenal system. I use it just to manage cortisol levels in case they're too high. And it's interfering with sleep patterns. It's a great supplement to use while working on nourishing the adrenal system to the other Herbes I mentioned. So the other herbs if they don't work fast enough, and you really need to get some cortisol down or some sleep Some improvement in sleep, then I'll use postural tiles every once in a while.

I don't like using Bach without assuming that often because I'd rather treat the root cause and bring more of a harmonious balance to the body. So so far, as you notice, we've talked a lot about the effect on the physical body, right? And the physical effects on the immune system, meaning your diet, coffee, sleep issues, inflammation. The other thing that affects the adrenal system, of course, has emotional memory to the brain to the hypothalamus, pituitary axis. And the treatments we've discussed so far are treatments that are more physical in nature. And now I want to talk about things like homeopathy in counseling, which are more energetic in nature they work with.

In holistic medicine, one might say the only In another field of medicine, it might be termed as emotional memory. Because remember emotional memory. Yeah, every experience you go through in life. So this is a picture of somebody born as a baby, then as a toddler, the parents are fighting. So that's an emotional experience in life that creates a stress response in the body. And those experiences, rewire the brain.

And then later on, this guy grows up, and he's bullied as a teenager then work, he has a lot of stress. And maybe he has marital problems later on in life. These big layers and layers of chronic stress on the body. And the physical therapies we mentioned, like nutrition supplements and all that. They don't do anything to resolve the emotional memory of these traumatic experiences. And that's why counseling is extremely important.

It's fundamental to recovery to long term recovery. Otherwise, you'll just end up taking supplements all the time. And these emotional traumas or stress responses in the body, keep on lingering and keep on stimulating your immune system to remain exhausted, or be on guard. So homeopathy and counseling, I'll go through the different techniques are fantastic in discharging this memory from the limbic brain, from your brain system and your adrenal system. And why that's important is that once these memories from actual memories, just the stress responses released, then you get a safer perception of the world around you, yourself. You start re thinking, you start rewiring your brain and rethinking aspects of yourself and the world that you live in, you become calmer, you become more confident through counseling or coaching.

And that what that does then is once that rewiring happens, it stops. That's continued stressing on your adrenal system, so you don't burn out as much. You don't use up as much nutrients you don't go into cortisol imbalance because of chronic stress. Stress, and also the cause you become more empowered and more confident through counseling and coaching. Other stresses in life becomes smaller, you're not so affected by your boss's anger, or your partner's arguments with you, or things that are happening with your children because you just learn how to deal with issues and much more efficiently, and you burn out less that way. So, homeopathy, I'm going to do a whole lecture on homeopathy and Bach flowers in this lecture series.

Today, I want to mention just how it's used for your adrenal system. So homeopathic medicines help resolve stuck emotions as well. They don't block brain chemicals. It's not suppressing medicine. It actually helps your body goes through a discharge released and so that there's a full recovery and organic recovery. Read that your entire system goes through.

And once the trauma is shed, your body feels safer, more resilient, and therefore requires less nutritional supplements over time. homeopathy is excellent because it can treat specific trauma. So we use the book called The repertory. And it's chapters in that book saying these are the remedies for a person who has gone through abuse. Or these are the remedies we've gone for somebody who's gone through financial loss. Or this is the the remedy for somebody who grew up with a lot of fighting in the home.

Because the people who have developed homeopathy have studied the characteristics of people who go through these significant traumas and have found remedies to match these behaviors. And so it's a very specific cure for a person and that's why it's so much more effective. And I'll go into more detail about these remedies. And the homeopathy lecture. Just to mention, I did have a client with bipolar. And I think I'll mention him later on in the series.

He grew up with his parents fighting a lot unstable home environment. And of course, we fixed the digital system and the garden all that however, the remedy that made a difference to him was a remedy that came from this chapter of the book for the remedy that's used for children who have grown up in an environment that's very difficult between the parents. So stay tuned for that one. I've used certain remedies for shock, aconite, ignition, and OPM great remedies for shock and other remedies for trauma or Oram, which is when we've had the gold standard Sagir Kirsten Nielsen, and the app is phosphoric acid videocast data, great remedies for burnout. And your homeopath can guide you more on that or you can just shoot me an email and we'll talk about it. And there's other things called tissue salts there homeopathic as well.

Talley FOSS the tissue so called Cali FOSS, which is basic potassium for spork and is a fantastic tissue solid to help also develop your adrenal system. Bach flower remedies are also homeopathic in nature meaning they're energetic in nature. They help release stress and tension and help you overcome negative beliefs and thought and behavior patterns. And they work in a transformative way as well. They don't suppress symptoms, if you change your behavior and your physiology organically, so that you come out of states of negative behaviors and perceptions and towards a place of more resilience, positivity and authenticity. In addition to homeopathic medicines, coaching is extremely important for overcoming any stressful events in your life that are contributing to your negative mood in this in this present life I use basically every single one of these NLP Gestalt EMDR is eye movement desensitization technique, and it's used all over the world for trauma work fantastic where you stay with a sensation and a negative thought that you have from a memory and then the practitioner will stimulate both both sides of the brain by asking follow the finger from side to side.

And as you follow the fingers from side to side and you are remembering the traumatic memory and the negative thoughts and feelings associated with it, your brain starts reprocessing this memory and the negative thoughts you have around this memory to the point where you start letting go of that, the negative feelings about the memory and you release, I guess the stress around the memory and you become more resilient, more relaxed, and you have less attachment negative attachment to the memory. Fantastic therapy, a highly recommended Emotional Freedom Technique is another therapy which helps release stored emotions from the body and stored beliefs as well. And it uses tapping on certain acupuncture points, you can check this on the internet. There's lots of videos out there. And I'll be running a video on how to use EFT as well later on in the series. Family constellations is one of my favorite therapies.

And that's based on theory that sometimes we pick up behaviors as a result of things that have happened in our family system including from generations before. Because your parents are born into a family system, and of their of their parents of your grandparents, so they pick up on behaviors based on that system. And so when you're born into this family system, then you will pick up similar behaviors and you'd be affected by things that happened. And that happened to your grandparents to your parents, even at subconscious level. So family constellations, therapy, can really bring to light what these negative effects on your family system are. And you can do exercise to resolve a lot of these interruptions in the smooth flow of what we call love.

Positive Psychology, we'll be doing a couple exercise on those positive psychology is helps you focus on things that work for you. So being more grateful, remembering things that went well for you in your life. writing letters of gratitude, all these things actually rewire your brain towards a more in a more positive way. And when you rewire your brain using positive or healthy behaviors, then what happens is you stay happier and healthier for long periods of time to the actual rewiring going on in your brain. So we'll do a bunch of these different therapies along different videos. So let's go through one case I had while these a bunch of faces actually during the terrorist attack in Kenya.

A lot of people came in with fear, insomnia and chronic fatigue. The fatigue came because your adrenal system was burnt out after the shock and trauma. So, for a number of patients I used aconite rescue remedy which is a back power combination indignation. These help release the trauma from the body and of course, we A bit of psychotherapy in EFT. Now you might ask why didn't Why didn't psychotherapy alone work? psychotherapy does work EFT does work out homeopathy takes a deeper, really accurate, very deep level so you get faster results.

So I highly recommend combining homeopathy with psychotherapy makes everything much work much smoother. Now, since we have resolved the trauma, the adrenal glands have not been nourished yet, right. So we have to also include rhodiola or be complex in order to really nourish the adrenal system. So because they were burnt out, based on the chronic stress from the trauma, so just notice how we're releasing emotion using energetic medicine or counseling. And we also have to support the body physically using nourishing herbs and diet as well. So it doesn't burn out and there's also a balancing neurotransmitters.

Here's another patient We'll call her Jane. And she chronic depression, insomnia and binge eating. And she used to work in Somalia, and would have a lot of stressful, she found conflicts with her colleagues very stressful for her. And she also had a lot of headaches since childhood, and your father was abusive to a mother. Now, based on how she's growing up, she had a beautiful perception about life. And the childhood stress that she grew up with, made her feel very vulnerable during when she had arguments with her colleagues, right, because her childhood memories were being triggered during these arguments.

So that brings up a lot of vulnerability for people. And, of course, the conflict with the colleagues as well as a stress at work exhausted her adrenal system. And you notice here that I said she is meaning she was eating a lot of carbohydrates, and just sugary snacks. And that will create the sugar spike and the sugar drop and then the insulin balance and therefore the adrenal fatigue. So you can see how the childhood memory as well as the conflict during present like and as well as the stress, and her eating habits are all exhausting her adrenal system, right? You're becoming more aware of what are the impacts on the adrenal system?

So what's, what's the thing to do here? First thing, well, these are done all together. One is to resolve childhood trauma. And we did that through psychotherapy, as well as EFT and homeopathy, using some of the remedies I mentioned, and I'll mention them in the homeopathy lecture later on. And, of course, we have to eat healthy foods, increasing the amount of protein reducing the amount of sugary snacks, having more protein and carbohydrates. Physically, which will stabilize the adrenal system.

I also give her rhodiola and a B complex to stabilize the adrenal system further to remember the diet is helping protect the immune system from imbalances. We also have not give extra nutrients to renourish and re establish balance, and that's where the adrenal hurts coming. And then we did Bowen therapy. And a different practitioner could use acupuncture reflexology, just to help calm down the nervous system and just massage is also good. But one therapy I find one of the best as well as acupuncture, because it has they have the ability to actually reset and take the body out of that fight or flight mode. Right, so that was the adrenal system.

Let's talk about the thyroid before we finish your thyroid hormone. As you'll notice here, it's produced by a thyroid gland which sits around your throat area over here. If I recall my producers, t four and T three, t four is the inactive form it doesn't do much. I'm sure it has some hidden functions that are not properly researched. T three is the activated form. So t four gets changed into T three and T three is what helps cells use energy and function better.

So, why is your thyroid hormone and your thyroid gland extremely important for mental health? One is your brain uses thyroid d3, d3 to make serotonin and serotonin as you know how to feel good. Your liver needs thyroid hormones to function well. So this time if you don't have enough thyroid hormones, then your liver will not function well. You have less bile being produced less detoxification and therefore more constipation more inflammation in your body. And also the opposite is true is your thyroid hormones, so t four numbers inactive, it needs a healthy liver to be converted to T three.

So if your liver is imbalanced, you have less thyroid hormones that are active. So you seem like your thyroid is not working, because your liver is not working well. So the two, the two works symbiotically with each other. In your intersections as well. T four is converged t three by your good bacteria. And t three, the active form is needed to keep the lining of your cells right over here you see these all these cells in your into Stein, these cells need to be tight together to prevent any holes from developing the leaky gut syndrome.

So activity three keep these cells tight together, which creates a better barrier in your intestines, meaning less leaky gut, less inflammation throughout your body and therefore when you have less than inflammation of course, you have more balanced of hormones. And less inflammation means less cortisol is needed by your adrenal system. And therefore you protect your adrenal system by protecting your intestines. So we'll just go through that again, here's a summary. Quarter cortisol in balance, suppresses thyroid function. And cortisol imbalance also reduces the conversion from t to t three, so you don't have enough active d3 when your cortisol levels are out of balance.

If you're interested intestinal health is compromised, meaning you have less good bacteria. There'll be less tea for converted to active t three. As we talk, as we mentioned, t three helps keep your intestinal, the lining of your inner science stronger. So make sure you type function is optimal to also reduce The chances of leaky gut syndrome. And here we're just mentioning d3 helps your liver cells function better. And also your liver is needed to convert people to d3.

D3 helps your brain produce serotonin. And so all these factors, you can see that if you have a compromised thyroid function, so hypothyroidism, and a compromised liver function because of toxicity or stress and poor diet, then you get more constipation, more toxins in your body more inflammation, and inflammation, of course, with the cortisol imbalance and exhaust your adrenal system. So you can see how your liver and your tired and poor diet can contribute to a feeling of stress in your body. So stress doesn't only come from your environment, from your work from your family issues. It also comes from the effect of different organs in your body and vice versa. It's not only chemicals in your body that create mood alterations, your emotional memories, the experiences you've had in your life.

If they're not resolved, they will linger in your body and affect your physical glands such as your adrenal system, and therefore contributes to prolonged anxiety and depression. So you need to heal both your body. Yeah, through the diet, nutritional supplements and detoxifying your liver. And you need to use homeopathy through counseling to remove stressful memory, results, stress, overcome negative thoughts and feelings about yourself and about life. So that your adrenal glands and your entire system can recover. So let's go through one more case.

A couple of cases actually is a really interesting cases that you get a sense of how to put all this stuff together. So I had a 47 year old woman we'll call her Jane recently. divorced, extreme financial stress and she feels like cheated. She had anxiety and suicidal thoughts and a lot of fatigue and burnout. So, of course when she came in the first thing is the heal the gut protocol, and that's the probiotics, glutamine, vitamin D and then we also support the adrenal system using a B complex and rhodiola. So we can the physical body at this time.

Now I use the homeopathic medicine Oram which helps with depression, especially with the suicidal thoughts. I also tried other remedies such as nature muriatic one because there was a separation and a divorce, which was creating a lot of anxiety for her. So with the Oram, there was some relief with suicidal thoughts that were reduced. But she was still quite anxious, not sleeping well. Her energy of course, had improved because of the rhodiola and the B complex. So for sleep, I used an amino acid five HTP We'll talk about that later.

Just to help asleep so don't it's a serotonin precursor and change the homeopathic around and I gave her ignatia which is also for shock and trauma related to financial issues. And we used a physical therapy as well just to keep a calm and nourished. I delayed counseling with her in this case because I wanted to stabilize the body first. So she felt she got her energy back and could function well at work, because the lack of energy at work was stressing her out even more. Once she was stabilized, and she had enough energy to function well. We went into counseling to release the negative feelings and emotions and the memories.

And so with this combination of feeling the body, as well as resolving mental issues to counseling, she recovered really well. Let's go to john. This is the guy I was talking about with bipolar. bipolar disorder. So he had depression as well as manic episodes, where he was just hyperactive and anxious often. He grew up in a home where his parents were fighting quite a lot.

And when he was eight years old, his parents went through a very difficult divorce that really affected him. So based on this history, of course, he grew up feeling very stressed. And also witnessing the parents fighting. Just it's, it's really creates a traumatic memory in a child that people live with even into adulthood. So these need to be resolved, of course. And this chronic exhaustion, yeah, from the childhood experiences and through life experiences, really put his body in a very compromising state.

So he was so exhausted, so his ability to deal with stress was highly reduced to small amounts of stress, of course, felt very overwhelming and I'm sure some of you can relate They just have this, where a small demand just brings about tears or a sense of anxiety. And that's because your adrenal system is really whacked out. How do we treat john? Well, one is resolve the emotional pain and the memories and just overcome the stress of witnessing his parents fighting. And we did that through Emotional Freedom Technique, as well as like therapy, meaning the short word. Now the counseling helped him also realize that you've been living with a stressed out paradigm, the way he looks at the world, the way he looks at himself, is a very stressed way of looking at life.

And that stress was impacting his adrenal system. So through that awareness, he stopped being that way and says, gosh, I don't have to be that way anymore. I don't have to compromise. My my natural flow of energy, my natural flow of love and being and so that awareness and that shift in perception that paradigm shift helped the Brain rewire itself. And when the brain rewire itself, remember, they it stops stimulating the adrenal glands to always work so hard. We did further counseling just to help him with confidence and if we could function life much better.

And we combine some homeopathy as well to release the stress from childhood, which worked really well. And of course, as you can see that he had a lot of adrenal issues. So we use rhodiola and a B complex to stabilize the immune system. And I love rhodiola in this case, because rhodiola helps regulate the pituitary gland with the adrenal system. And when there's emotional trauma, and emotional like just difficult memories while you're in psychotherapy, and while you're doing homeopathy, it's good to have a nourishing herb that also regulates the signals between the adrenal system which is lower in the body and the hypothalamus pituitary. And of course, diet is key in all cases.

So even though most of most of the causes opposite issues was adrenal stress and emotional issues during childhood, we had to fix the gut, through glutamine, probiotics, fish oil, vitamin D, so that there's no leaky gut, contributing towards cortisol imbalance and adrenal fatigue. So I hope this all makes sense, this combined approach, because if you do it right, you really feel a resilience come back into your life. So, just to sum up for today's lecture, inflammation, and stress would use stability of your brain to rewire itself. Right. So even though you're going through counseling to rewire your brain if you are if your body's inflamed through leaky gut, and liver toxicity, and you will still face a lot of stress Then your brain will rewire itself as well. And inflammation means that there's less, less neurotransmitters available for emotional stability.

Also with stress, remember you're using up a lot of your nutrients. So, with chronic stress, you will have less neurotransmitters less serotonin, dopamine, GABA, and therefore, you just won't recover well enough right. So we got into a lot of state stabilization, sorry. So, by healing your body and through the physical therapies, that means the neuro trans neuroplasticity will work better, which means that by healing the body counseling works better. Yeah, your ability to transform with counseling is improved significantly if you have a healthy body. So what I want to take what I want you to take from today's seminar is your body and your mind attract each other.

Let's go back there. Your mind affects your body. So your mind through emotions and memories will stimulate you adrenal system and keep it in a stress state and also affect other organs. And therefore counseling and psychotherapy and coaching and homeopathy are very effective for releasing this effect. And also your body through neurotransmitters through chemicals and inflammation because your gut is inflamed, or you having the wrong diet or your livers too toxic. All these all these body reactions will affect your brain chemicals, and therefore your mood in your mind.

Great. So thanks for joining me today. That was a that was a long time. One hopefully you took some good notes and what you've got so far is how to kill your gut, reduce inflammation in your body by eating right and using white supplements. And the second chapter we did was about healing your liver detoxifying your liver and why your liver affects your hormones and therefore your mood. And I gave you some nice remedies, some homeopathic remedies and some herbs to help stabilize your liver function.

And then today, we covered the adrenal system, the third organ, that's fundamental, it's really the pillar to emotional well being. And I've given you lots of probes and diet and lifestyle recommendations, as well as counseling tips to nourish your adrenal system and also to resolve trauma. In other videos during this course, we'll be walking through specific exercises in positive psychology to help rewire your brain in a better way. And also to release stress and negative beliefs might have That prevents you from really overcoming childhood upbringing that doesn't serve you anymore in your current situation life. See you soon thanks
