In this section we will be talking about TCP IP transport layer of overview. Most of the section will consist of TCP attacks including TCP flags, UDP based attacks, and the remaining protocol attacks. NTP being one of the most popular examples as shown. So let's start with an overview of what are we going to cover in this section. As you can see here, in this section, we will be actually here. Previously, we discussed networking layer, data link and physical layer.

And now we are here in this section. Alright, so what we'll be talking about, we will first start with TCP, more specifically TCP attacks proflex the first flag being the SYN flag. Then we will also cover acts like attacks. And then we will cover their combinations including other flags For instance, the famous Christmas attack. And for the sake of reference, all these flags are basically located here in the TCP header. Of course, flags are not the only way to attack in TCP.

There are other volume based attacks as well. And we will definitely be covering them as well as their mitigation methodologies. After TCP, well the second most famous I would say protocol is UDP. So we will be covering them as well. Most of them will be also volume based attacks. So let's start
