A local television station sells time slots for programs in 30 minute intervals, if the station operates 24 hours per day, every day of the week, what is the total number of 30 minute time slots? The station can sell for Tuesday and Wednesday. Okay. So let's summarize again what's going on. So this television station is selling time slots for 30 minutes, okay. And it is operating, it is on for 24 hours every day for every day of the week.

So it is on for every single minute of the week. Now they're asking you how many number of time slots how many 30 minute time slots, can they sell for just two days on Tuesday and Wednesday? Well, they told us they are operating 24 hours per day. So that's a total of here we got 24 hours here on Tuesday 24 hours on Wednesday, for a combined of 48 total hours. Cross the two days. So if you have 48 hours, and they're giving out 30 minute intervals 30 minutes is the same thing as writing point five or half an hour.

So you divide it right you divide the total by how much you're giving out as a time slot and they'll give you the total amount of time slots. So 48 hours divided by point five equals 96 time slots. And that's it. grit that in and
