And the last one is how computer language deal with it. So here I'm going to talk about the scope of data and these two aspects of programming language. So what is data?
Data is a Latin word that refers to a set of instructions, figures or facts, or values about an object or a subject generated through observations to make speculations about the source. There are many types of or branches of science that deal with various types of data. And data are categorized into many different types or subtypes, according to the subject areas one tries to investigate in statistics data could be one of the followings. It could be qualitative or quantitative. The quantitative type of data could be either nominal or ordinal. However, quantitative type of data could be discrete or continuous.
In computer programming data can be subdivided into the followings. data could be numeric string, or Boolean. The numeric type of data could be integer or float. The string type of data could be text, the Boolean type of data could be true or false. It is important to know that in computer programming, variables are empty boxes are entities that can hold data, different types of data. So, computer programs assign data to the variables that we want to announce.
They use this through using assignment operators. Python uses equal sign as an assignment operator. So for instance, if we have five as a data and we would like to assign it To a variable, let's say variable a, we would write down a equals to five, to assign five to an assigned variable, which is a, and the result would be a equals to five. So that's how Python assigns the data, which is five, an integer to the variable a
