Up until now, all software were like walking on a straight path from beginning to end without any side roads. The instructions were listed in an ordered fashion. So we had command one, two, and three, and so on. Now we are going to make a computer program that can choose what to do based on particular issues encountered. In this section I'm going to introduce a new type of command known as the conditionals. Let's imagine that we have a zombie cat actor, and we want him to choose what to do next based on conditions encountered, depending on which choice he makes, he goes to a particular place and does something.
So the case scenario is like if the zombie encounters an object like a bucket, let's say the zombie chooses not to do anything. However, if the zombie encounters a human, he chooses to attack the human The general syntax of such kind of program would be like if the object is equal to a bucket, the choice would be equal to do nothing. However, if the object is equal to a human, the choice would be equal to attack the human. In the next coming lectures, I'm going to talk about the details of conditional commands.
