DESCRIPTION: Mantra or Naada Yoga

The Mantra is a Sanskrit word, which can be broken in two parts:-

&lsquo;Man&rsquo;, which means the mind or manas
&lsquo;Tra&rsquo;, which means the tool, instrument or vehicle.

In simple words, a mantra is an instrument or tool of the mind, a powerful sound or vibration that a Sadhaka can use to enter a deep state of meditation.
Mantras are being used by Yogis, Brahmins and Spiritual seekers as a form of meditation to clear the mind and awaken the higher healing energies in form of a sound, chant, word, or phrase. The most ancient mantras can be found in the Vedas, the ancient Hindu Texts on the Science of Living or Spirit.
Mantra can be recited or chanted verbally or silently. In Yogic traditions, mantras are often combined with rhythmic breathing and mindfulness on the meaning or a particular point like chakra.
