Okay, I want to talk about the fact that when you self host, you're also going to have to self promote. That's kind of a given because when you upload to YouTube, you're going to be able to get some traffic from Google organic, you know, when they rank those keyword, those video keyword, ideas or phrases, and then when you end up self hosting and getting, you know, rankings inside of Google's Video tab for more generic keywords, that's going to end up having to have a lot of that traffic come from your end to begin with. And the best way that I have found to do this is number one, social media share. All right, and then obviously, you point it back to the original URL. Number two, this is a big one. Email, you're just going to simply make a little email stating, you know, a, I got this new video right here, I'd love for you to watch it, you're not going to be able to include an actual video, oftentimes inside of email, I'm sure email will eventually evolve where it's commonplace.
But all you need to do is post an image or that cover URL, and then add a little youtube play button to it, or just any type of Play Button, talk a little bit more about it a little bit more excetera send that off to all of your people. And now instantly, you're reaching dozens of people who can start getting interested in this video, follow it. And there is a way that you'll actually garner a lot of emails by using what I call a soap and a Seinfeld sequence. And this basically ends up getting people involved. And I won't say the drama but really the emotions of what Ever you talk about whatever your product does, it helps someone in some way, whether it's to, you know, escape from pain or to move towards pleasure and increase the, you know, value of their life, that is going to be something that has emotions tied inside of it.
So I'm actually going to be talking about a little sequence inside of here, just a little side note of email marketing and kind of how you can communicate to your audience with that. Now, the third one is obviously going to be naturally, your website, your website's going to have the self hosted video, that's the best place to have it. And what you're going to end up finding is that when you self host, you're not getting those YouTube suggestions for other videos. So people are staying on your website more. Google likes that as well. It increases a lot of your retention and increases the fact that Google goes Oh, these videos are watched.
They're well liked. I need to start ranking them and showing people where to find these videos. So those are the biggest places when you sell them. Post how you're going to then self promote. And that's kind of what happens when you do that, um, you know, Google when you upload it to YouTube, they'll work on your behalf to market for you. But when you're self hosting, you have to also self promote.
These are the top three ways to do so.
