Okay, so I know you're probably asking yourself, what do I do if I want to self host? Well, self hosting is a bit complicated in the sense of, if you just directly upload it to your file server, you know, you have Hostgator and they have their little units working overtime for you. If you upload your video to this server, it's going to end up bloating it because every time I say that you have a one gigabyte video, which isn't nowadays, you know, a 1080 and 2440 ps, you're really going to fill that up pretty quick sometimes in the course of a couple of minutes. So if you have one gigabyte self hosted up to into your website, and now 1000 people access this video Then you just ate up 1000 gigabytes. So obviously most of the time that's going to go over your hosting plan. So it's not able to be done.

Especially if you use something like I said, you know, you call this hostgator. It could be one in one, it could be GoDaddy, it could be dreamhost, a million other places, they're not going to like this. And you're going to end up getting what's known as reduction where, you know, they'll give you 100% of your CPU load. And then once you pass over this threshold, they'll start only delivering like 20%. And now your website takes five times more to load. You.

You know, that's basically the worst of it. I mean, people aren't willing to wait in a day and age where 80% of people will leave your website. If it takes more than 10 seconds to load. That's huge. So you really got it, you know, if you had a two second website that was loading into seconds, which is pretty good. That's really fast, probably faster than half of all the websites online right now, that five acts that reduction.

Now because you're self hosting a video, boom, all of a sudden 80% of your people are going to be bouncing. So that's no good. So what you want to end up using, the biggest one I recommend is Wistia. And this is paid obviously, because you gotta do the service, you have to pay for it. You can't get away with an eight bucks a month host and have them deliver, you know, 2030 videos, to 1000 2000 visitors that are each a gigabyte or more in size. So Wistia is going to help you be able to upload a numerous amount of content.

And this is what the website looks like, again, wistia.com you can just simply look at the different prices that they have available. All it is it's almost like a YouTube the way that you optimize it. They'll create a video Sitemaps for you, and all types of other stuff, so it sinks into your website, all you have to do is upload it. Most of the time, what people will end up doing is just starting off with a few, usually like a sales video, you can get that for free. But if you're actually going to go after this and really start getting, how would I say that that traffic from the video SEO and that self hosting, then you're gonna have to go with the pro plan. It's $100 a month, it is quite a bit for most people I understand.

But if you're a video person, a video marketer, that's really not that much and for the extra amount of SEO and traffic and get you for self hosting your videos. It's a big boost and it can be a lot of land a lot of credibility for you. So, again, that's what I suggest for having a self hosting plan. Otherwise, you're kind of going to be looking around and hopping around because someone that's able to provide that much resources To you, knowing that you're, you know, they're hosting videos and they got to host a pretty quick, you know, it's almost got to be at streaming speed. That's a lot for someone to be able to handle. So, again, make the right choice, do your research if you're not going to choose Wistia.

And be careful and be weary because as a lot of traffic that has a lot of resources, a lot of data and it can quickly get out of hand when you just have a quick influx of visitors, you know, over a couple of weeks of making something that's Uber successful or viral or something like that.
