Okay, so here we are inside of YouTube. And as you can see, this is my feed. I'm kind of into video games, you know, comics, animated shows basketball science, that's all kind of what appears in my feed. Now you can do these things in incognito or signed in, it really doesn't matter. Google doesn't use targeting like that for this type of research in terms of tags. So, just going to click on click on a video, you know, something like a basketball.

Here we have sports science, Stephen Curry, Steph Curry, I guess that's how it's pronunciate it. So what we want to find out is okay, there's not much optimization here. He's ranking very well. Obviously, he has a decent subscriber base. But what is it, it's really pushing to the top? What is it that the keywords that he's ranking for?

So what we want to do is type in control plus U. That's going to bring up the source code, you can right click view page source. That's the same thing right there. In Apple, I believe it would be something like Apple you. And once we're here, we're going to click Ctrl F, which is find, we're going to type in keyword. I like to type in keywords and you can even put in a bracket, make sure you get it.

And now here we go. So here's all the keywords that we have highlighted here, I'm gonna highlight every one of them. And that's what he's using to rank and pull in all of this traffic. So when we create our video that's competing against this one, we want to use similar keywords and tags and maybe even a little bit more as much as is allowed. So we have sports science, Stephen Curry, sports science, Stephen Curry, Sport Science, Stephen MBA, Miami, Stephen, Stephen, Miami, basketball team, NBA TV, TV, network baseball, basketball, and in the invention. So again, those are probably decent terms.

We could probably get some better ones. You know, knockout basketball, when it says invention, you could probably just use basketball, we could get rid of baseball. You know, we could get rid of maybe Miami Heat unless that has to do with a specific game in that. But all of these things you know are obviously right. These are brandings. But you take these keywords these tags and you use them yourself, and you're obviously going to get similar optimizations, similar SEO.

So you want to copy what is successful, what's already working. Now, this is sports science, Stephon curry, so you may want to add Sports Science on Stephon curry and then you know maybe and I'll do it here. On Stephon curry, you can use like a what's known as a pipeline bar, and then we'll say shooting form something like that. And that's gonna obviously get even more clicked on than this just sports science. Stephen Curry. Some people are going to Go, oh, well, I want to learn specifically by shooting porn and things like that.

So the more ways that you can optimize these things, the better it is. And this is how you find the tags. You can also find YouTube tags. And there are plugins for both Chrome and Firefox, you know, find YouTube tags, Chrome, extension, and then here we go. You can download tags for YouTube, vid IQ vision for YouTube. All of these are great plugins to actually help you see into what's going on in Google.

Vid. IQ is great for finding out how is there optimization, etc. We'll kind of go into this a little bit, but I wanted to show you kind of without all of the tools turned on. But if you want tags alone, you can use this. Otherwise you can go through the page source like I did, this is the manual way away, that'll always be available to you. But then again, you may want something that's a little easier of use.

What that'll do is it'll add a little bar down here and it'll say view tags. With vid IQ does the same thing, but it's over here on the side, right in this playlist area. So we'll kind of dig into a few of these tools and other things. And when it comes to YouTube Video SEO optimization
