Welcome to the course. So who is this course for? Do you want to learn studio lighting techniques? Do you want to be up to date with the latest lighting styles? And do you want to be able to learn this simply and quickly? If that's the case, then this course is for you.

Who am I? My name is Mark Timberlake. I've been a commercial photographer for over five years, I've been taking commercial images for over 12. So what I'm teaching you Here are the principles that I've learned and use in my own business. And the principles and techniques I've learned, especially over the last five years as a commercial photographer, and I want to share them with you. So that's my background.

That's why I'm qualified to actually help you become About a studio photographer. So what can be included in the course, where you're going to have examples of studio lighting shown to you using advanced 3d software. So we've got a virtual studio show you how to set all the lights up, how it appears and how the light falls on the virtual models. We're going to have an explanation of different types of modifiers. And every single lighting set that we show you will have a full PDF floor plan of all the lighting setups, including ratios and settings. Now your lights might be slightly different, you might have slightly different modifiers.

So this will help you get there very, very fast. You won't have identical power ratios if you're using different modifiers and different lights to what we're showing here, but it'll be very close and you're safe. Figure out what it is. So everything comes with a floor plan. So you can literally look at the PDF, set your lights up, put your subject there, and figure out all the power on your lights and you're good to go. We're going to teach you lighting setups.

We're going to go from one light, and how all the variations of one light are being used out there. We're going to go up to four light scenarios. And I believe we've even got a five light scenario tucked in the four lights section as well. So lots of different lighting setups that we're going to show you in this course.
