Okay, so let's start building our network environment by first installing VirtualBox, which is a free software provided by Oracle. In order to download VirtualBox just go to Google and type in VirtualBox and then click on the first link, then you should click on this big button right here, download VirtualBox 5.2. By the way, depending on when you're watching this video, this version may change however, the information inside this section stays relevant. So don't worry about a slight change in the version. Click on the bottom and now you're redirected to this page right here where you can choose from downloading VirtualBox for Windows OSX, Linux or Solaris. I'm going to use Windows since I'm using Windows 10.
Just click on save file and choose a location for your file. I have already downloaded this file. So I'm going to click Cancel. This is a file right here. Just double click on it Hit Next. Next.
Again next leave everything as it is. Proceed with installation now Yes. and install the installer will ask you if you would like to install this device software which VirtualBox needs, so you should click Install. And finally let's click on finish and let's maximize this window. This is how VirtualBox looks like. And after we are going to download the Arista virtual machine, you're going to see how to import a virtual machine into VirtualBox and how to set up the necessary requirements in order to have a fully functional virtual machine.
