Now we've been talking about states of energy. Now I want to share with you a key skill to help us shift our energy. rationally, emotionally and physically. This is a very powerful skill. And whether you're in a sports, music, healthcare, doesn't matter where you're working or whether you're a student of this is a key skill. It's I would call it foundational.
And it's good old belly breathing, also known in some circles as diaphragmatic. Breathing, meaning engages the diaphragm. So, belly breathing, first steps, thumbs gently together, fingers woven together and as a weave the fingers together, I want you to remember that your body is an interconnected, rational, emotional, physical. So weave your fingers together, some gently together on your belly button, not even just on it's not and you're gonna breathe in on four, hold for four, and out on four. So you're ready. So you should feel your diaphragm come down and out.
You've taken an air and then you hold for four. Then you exhale on 4321. You should feel your diaphragm coming in and a little bit up. Now let's try it again. I'll turn sideways, you get another view. Don't make fun of this.
That's groceries. So, belly breathing, diaphragmatic breathing. It's about oxygenating your brain, your body and slowing you down. So you're ready, some fingers together, you're a unified being. fingers on the belly button and breathing on for Hold for 4321 and exhale for you should feel a little difference. You can slow that down.
You can speed that up. Let's take a look at belly breathing that increases your energy and on four hold for 4321 out on to try that again and on four.
