DESCRIPTION: Once we have started to take the first steps in our own transition or the one we participate in, we have gained two major elements: acceptance and overcoming initial fear or opposition caused by our inner adherence to conservative comforts. It is easier to convince ourselves "to NOT do something" than to go into the troubles of getting into the transition. After all, any transition is not just a physical process, it is also emotional. It affects one self but possibly also others. So it often implies dealing with the conservative opposition of others, their criticism or even judgemental opposition and disbelief. Overcoming all these initial burdens represents already 50% of all the work. It is empowering of the self and fulfills oneself with powerful arguments to do the transition. The more opposition one receives, the stronger one manifests him or herself in the process of change.
Then we have to realize the transition itself.
