What is calorie budgeting?
Calorie Budgeting is basically the same as normal money budgeting where you need to budget your salary to last you the week or month. The only difference is calories is what we are budgeting.
From your goal calculations in previous lesson you have got a 3 calorie targets for each type of activity day:

Sedentary day
Lightly Active Day
Spartan or Intense Training Day

You will have then worked out how many days you will have in each activity category in your week.
Lets use an example below to illustrate how calorie budgeting works:
Example – Paul is a 30 Year Old Male, 175cm, 80kgs, wants to Lose 0.5lb. per week – Plans to do Spartan Training 3 times per week (Mon, Wed and Fri) with 2 Lightly Active Days (Sat and Sun) and 2 Rest Days (Tue and Thu)
