Can i still drink alcohol and still lose weight? …Yes and No
NO:

If you stick to your recommended calories, but then go over this by adding in excess alcohol, then you will gain weight on the weeks you drink alcohol.
If you drink high calorie drinks such as pints of beer, sugary ciders, or spirits with sugary mixers, it will be harder to lose weight as the calories you are cutting on your diet will be overwhelmed by the high volume of alcohol calories you are putting in.
If you drink alcohol every weekend, its pretty much impossible to lose weight unless you are training maybe 6-8 times per week at high intensity.

If drink alcohol now and again or in moderation (once per month), and following your plan which budgets for the extra alcohol calories, you can still lose weight and stick to your goals.
