DESCRIPTION: Writing good German is not just about writing grammatically correct. You might have noticed that it can be pretty difficult to understand a sentence when there is a lot of information between two verbs (or between the verb and its separable prefix). German language style teachers recommend not to have more than about six words between two verbs.Otherwise, either try to make two sentences or try to put a long piece of information at the beginning so that there are fewer words between the verbs. I know, a lot of Germans are unfortunately ignoring this rule, but you should not.Example: Ich will heute um 19.00 Uhr mit Veronika im Meer baden.Heute um 19.00 Uhr will ich mit Veronika im Meer baden.
