Lots of people write for enjoyment or to amuse themselves or others. Think of the friend who tells the best ghost stories when you go camping. If you want those stories to go beyond your acquaintances, you need to publish them. But where?
This course has five sections. They don't deal with how to write a story. Rather, they are designed to take you from your finished story to a place to publish them. Along the way you'll learn how to present your story so that an editor will be impressed (a.k.a. how to query a magazine) and how to let people know you've been published.
What will you learn in this course?
The only requirement is a willingness to spend time learning how to find short story markets and how to best present your work to publishers.
You should have a basic knowledge of grammar and sentence structure.
